WESTERN CARIBBEAN - 2004

The first of two cruises planned for this year was on Princess Cruise Lines' recently christened 3,150-passenger Caribbean Princess.  This cruise, with Western Caribbean ports of call, was her fifth week at sea and any problems that can be expected with a new ship appeared to have been corrected.  The food was great (was it because Princess's executive chef was in the kitchen?), the weather fantastic and the port excursions what we expected.  Stops included Princess Cays (Princess's private island); Montego Bay, Jamaica; Grand Cayman; and Cozumel.  I didn't write a review of this cruise because I had nothing to add to the multitude already posted on cruise review sites.  It was a relaxing week compared to our European cruises.  We spent our time on the ship relaxing poolside or on our balcony.
